this is a thread where you sign up to listen to the same music album as everyone else, and everyone who signs up gets a turn picking the album.
everyone will have 1 week to listen to the album of the week and make a post giving their thoughts on it, which can be short or extensive -- it just needs to be sufficient to demonstrate that they've actually heard the album.
you may pick an album you've already heard before and like, or you can pick an album you haven't even heard before. up to you.
people are allowed to sign up after the listening has already started; they'll just go to the back of the line.
you are allowed to skip your pick if you want, or if you fail to submit your pick within 24 hours of the 7th day of the previous round.
you may submit your pick for the next 7-day round as early as you want -- as long as you're the next person in line.
you may cease participation at any time.
you will be kicked out of the club if you fail to post your thoughts on the current album of the week within the 7-day period.
you may rejoin at any time.
(rule added 9/7/24:) albums cannot be longer than 1.5 hours.
at least 4 active club participants are required for each round to proceed.
