updated the OP post.
fyi the day of the week each round starts and ends is always shifting because of the 1-day window between each round to give the next person time to pick their album

my fav song is King And Caroline i am fond of songs trying to "paint" how medieval times would be, or anything to do with kings, i like how the first time he says caroline it fades out, i like the words procession and him saying standing in line from hours i have been in church, i like the outro or repeating SELLLLLL, i like that it is short

overall i liked the minimalist style but the vocals seemed similar to me on many tracks making them seem to blend together which could be good i guess, i liked the song about the big knife because big knives always fascinated me and when I first got one of my own I felt a sense of power that was only beaten when I held a gun for the first time, a knife still has a more powerful visage than a gun though and a giant knife is awesome and every boy should have one like the hitler youth knife that had Blood and Honor etched on the side

i liked chicken blows and the wavering vocals and the sad tone, and the chorus going WAHH WAHH WAHH,

i like the intro to always crush me, like the vocals "always crush me", i like everything about this song, i like the one ear asmr, I like him telling me I am such a _____, full head of nothing fail to see the diff fail to see the mercy always crush me picture my amazement when it dosent always pain me, i like every line, this song is me, ok never mind this is my fav song, W song, W slave

do you want to be added to the club member list? you can always skip your turn for picking an album. however if you skip reviewing/commenting on an album you will be removed from the member list

like bee thousand, it's cool small-sounding boxed indie rawk ruined by a bunch of really gay and boring acoustic faux-folk tracks, but there's also some songs like striped white jets where it's overall just exceptionally standard rawk music. the stretches between cool indie stuff and the rest of the album are a little too much and the second half in particular feels pretty barren. getting close to the end of it, it starts to feel like it's actually most of the album that's covered by normal alt rock and indie folk than the slacker stuff. motor away is the last song on the album that i thought was really cool

My thoughts:

I like the album, overall it feels super relatable and human and warm.
The commitment they make to that lofi production is really cool, I think it emphasizes the simplicity of their riffs and hooks and stuff.
My only complaint is I wish some of the songs were longer and more fleshed out, like Hit or Evil Speakers.

Some highlights for me were the ones I already knew, like My Valuable Hunting Knife, Game of Pricks (so goated) and As We Go Up, We Go Down. I love catchy little pop hooks and these guys really nail that.

Overall I rate it a 7.9/10

Favorite track: Game of Pricks
