i really wonder how this video was originally released
the creator (not the guy who uploaded it to youtube) seems to have ties to the producer
was this shown on tv in germany at some point? or just released on some physical media? or even uploaded to the internet circa the year 2000?
there are basically no google search results for it...

the beach boys are like if the beatles made songs from the heart that have real human emotions in them instead of silly quirky made up things that don't mean anything other than dude drugs lmao

tragedy that the beach boys made surf music before making Actual Good Music and now boomers are allowed to play that to people and falsely make them think the beach boys are not a serious band that made art music about emotions

when i bought a muffin album, she wrote me a thank-you email and then had a long-ish conversation with me in english which was very nice
the CD arrived with a little origami crane that has my name handwritten inside of it

japanese women who make obscure folk music are generally extremely friendly if you reach out to them or even if you do anything to indicate that you like their music (such as overpaying for a name-your-price bandcamp release). sachie yoda from めめ gave some guy i talked to an unreleased single as a "gift" after they had an email conversation
