i've never been to a bar and i don't know how i'm supposed to start talking to a complete stranger and the kind of people who go to bars and join these groups i probably don't want to talk to anyway

like what am i supposed to do order a glass of orange juice and start going through each person asking HEY DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHOEGAZE IS

i ate at the bar at gordon ramsay burger and ordered a beer with my burger and the drunk guy next to me started talking to me and tried to pay for my beer. that was like 3 or 4 weeks ago

it seems like the way bars are set up, where you're side-by-side with strangers, naturally invites conversation.

lack of relationships used to give me anxiety cuz it hurt my ego but once i exited the longhouse i stopped caring. i think maybe i might lovelessly marry some gold digger some day just because but also maybe not

i remember when i was at a summer camp when i was younger i talked to one of the counselors about how i don’t want to talk to anyone cuz i dont relate/connect with them and he said he felt the same when he was my age and felt pressure to make friends but as he got older he realized he just didn’t like people and that’s ok

i like the idea of going out and partying but in action it sucks. if you want to meet important, nice people get involved with your church and local politics
