Which game does GU/MEM like more? Imo I liked Cyberpunk a lot more; Starfield was too janky and sluggish for my tastes and I never got into the story.

Idk what GU/MEM means but mod support streamlined stuff for people who didnt like menus in SF. I took a break on starfield to not get fatigued but I'm obsessed with the ship building and I really liked the gun play

Grouper Uprising/Mind's Eye Magazine. The shipbuilding is a really cool and well-implemented concept, but I never quite like how the ships turn out. The gunplay is the best of any Bethesda RPG, I'll give it that, but in that regard I feel like Cyberpunk is superior. Cyberpunk is not exempt from jank and clunkiness, but I personally clicked a lot more with Cyberpunk's weapons and ballistics than I did Starfield's.

Cyberpunk never felt like an RPG to me, just a chore. Did you do the side quests for SF? Having I really liked the choices we had to make for certain missions, made it feel like I mattered in universe.

Yeah, they were definitely one of the better parts of the game. Lots of unusually interesting questions posed by them, too; the significance of putting the last Jew's fate in your hands is not lost on me. Bethesda is extremely good at side-quests. I liked most of Cyberpunk's side quests, but I also like Destiny 2, so I don't know if I can really tell you if a game is a chore or not.
I think both games placed you in the world pretty effectively; Starfield pulled no punches about you being very important, which for a world of its size felt a little awkward but not poorly done, while Cyberpunk made sure you understood you were just as much a part of the same fatalistic cycle of violence and decline as everyone else in Night City.
Besides the ending, Starfield was objectively a pretty good game, I'll give it that, so my reasons for liking Cyberpunk more come down to personal taste more than anything.
