are all these false gods demons? or just totally fictional?

wat is the Bible’s stance on Baal? is he just made up or an actual entity :thingken:

I think the Old testament has false gods as demons
I don't know why elites would worship them for no reason unless it's just some sort of tradition. The existence of spirit cooking at all is enough to convince me demons are absolutely real, and Faustian bargains definitely exist

>They stirred him to jealousy with strange gods; with abominable practices they provoked him to anger. They sacrificed to demons which were no gods, to gods they had never known, to new gods that had come in of late, whom your fathers had never dreaded.

Deuteronomy 32:16‭-‬17

>For all the gods of the peoples are demons, but the Lord made the heavens.

Psalm 96:5

Lord Carnarvon and Howard Carter discovered and broke into Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922. In the years after the discovery, over a dozen people connected with the tomb died in suspicious circumstances. Carnarvon was bitten on the cheek by a mosquito in the tomb, the bite became infected, and he died of pneumonia. And at the exact moment of his death, all the lights in Cairo went out. And back home in Hampshire, his dog howled once and died on the spot. Stranger still was the mark found on the cheek of the mummified remains of Tutankhamun - it corresponded exactly to the injury that killed Lord Carnarvon.

i found this by googling the phrase "howled once and died" which is from deep in my subconscious, and this passage sounds familiar, but apparently it's from some british video game magazine that's way too old to correspond to something that would make sense for me to have read
