stop by petco or home depot on the way home and get some bird feed. place bird in backyard or garage away from predators next to bird feed and some water and leave alone

i gave it sugar water with a straw and when it would swallow there was clicking. its ribs must be cracked. I got blood all over my hands too so i just put it back into a field where there were other birds. he will die for sure

just 3 days ago while driving, a bird flew diagonally into my car (i hit a bird while driving) -- it was a large bird, like a hawk or something, being chased by another similar-looking bird. i didn't see it coming, the collision came out of nowhere, hitting the area around the driver's side mirror and shaking the whole car. i looked in my rearview mirror and the bird i hit was lying on the road while the other bird flew down next to it, like they had been chasing each other as a game and now his friend was fuckin dead.
