i like the idea of becoming a paranormal phenomena otaku, especially focusing on aliens. there's something chuuni and idealistic about it that i find appealing. this thread will serve as a compendium of alien-related thoughts, but ghost-related thoughts and esper-related thoughts should also go here. aliens are probably time travellers from the future, so those two S.O.S.-dan activities are basically the same thing. i actually don't have strong feelings about aliens or other paranormal phenomena at all, other than the "aliens are demons" meme being retarded and a cowardly cop-out for conservatard faggots. either aliens don't exist at all or aliens are explained by an actual cool and interesting theory like the interdimensional hypothesis or the temporal hypothesis. "aliens are a breakaway civilization of 8-foot-tall aryans that live in hollow earth" is actually an okay meme hypothesis in spite of the cringe reddit "im so schizo" gosling jokermode pantherden associations. i doubt many sincerely believe it, because the greys/little green men sightings have totally overwhelmed the aryan alien or "pleiadian" sightings.
you can sort of make greys and pleiadians compatible with the hypothesis that greys are actually biological machines engineered for the sole purpose of piloting UFOs, which would explain why they don't have reproductive organs and also why aliens never seem to attempt to recover their downed crafts or rescue surviving occupants (roswell allegedly had at least 1 survivor who was taken into captivity). so then the actual alien civilization is run by aryan aliens while the ones inside of the UFOs are the little grey faggot midget slaves (grown in test tubes by the aryans). i like these more complex explanations, and i think the traditional extraterrestrial hypothesis is somewhat retarded and outdated considering how far away any habitable planets are. it wouldn't make any sense to travel for thousands of years only to soil your diaper and go into hiding in the ocean or something. also, focusing on government conspiracies is also boring and mostly stupid. i like to listen to different anecdotes about purported encounter events or recovered technology. bob lazar on joe rogan remains one of the most entertaining alien-related interviews despite bob lazar being discredited by jacking off in a movie theater or something (that's a joke, i think what he actually did was something related to hiring prostitutes).

he claims to have documented hundreds of pieces of evidence of aliens, briefed congressmen and former presidents on aliens, known bill clinton personally, and also met aliens several times. he jumped the shark and started saying that he could summon aliens to his personal alien retreat meetups which cost thousands of dollars to attend with him.
at these alien retreats where he summons aliens, he hires people to fly private planes in the distance and drop flares to fake alien contact events.
putting aside grifters like this fagot, i actually do like some ufologists, mostly people who are acolytes of jacques vallee, who has advanced the interdimensional hypothesis and the importance of psionic activity in ufology. there's one kino ufologist i started watching around the time of the grusch/tucker carlson meme psyop bullshit but i totally forgot his name and am currently scouring youtube for his videos...
much of what he talked about was the close relationship between ufo sightings and anomalous psychical experiences (not just "psychological," because this includes things like time dilation and alleged experiences of telepathy).
