i was playing a lot of games that used the build game engine (shadow warrior, blood, ion fury, etc) to get an idea of how to make a proper duke nukem mod. then i played cruelty squad and system shock fits in there somewhere, it’s clunky but has a similar aesthetic feel to cruelty squad
