Yeonmi Park, the infamous North Korean defector, is well known for her lies and embellishments. Many of these she has never addressed, giving up to FOUR different versions of stories from her time in NK.

1 – Originally, Yeonmi claimed that her mother, father, sister and herself crossed the border into China, escaping the NK.
Then, the story changed abruptly. Yeonmi began claiming that her father stayed behind to minimize the risk and that her mother was r*ped by a smuggler.

4 – Yeonmi canβt even maintain her lies, at times claiming the r*pist was a people smuggler, other times claiming it was a Chinese local.
After her popularity began to rise, Yeonmi switched the story to garner sympathy and attack anti-Western regimes.
