Changes
Recently, I made the difficult decision to mass-delete many old articles from this site. Nearly all the posts under the name “Hymn” are gone. This wasn’t an easy choice—many of those articles were my own work, holding years of effort and dedication. The process felt bittersweet, but ultimately, I believe it was necessary for several reasons.
For some time, I had been wrestling with the thought that I had “done my part” by contributing hundreds of propaganda articles. That mindset caused me to stagnate. I stopped challenging myself creatively and allowed past achievements to serve as a crutch instead of pushing me toward growth. This realization played a significant role in my decision. Deleting the old posts felt like clearing the slate and giving myself space to explore new ideas and directions.
Another factor was my growing discomfort with the content itself. Over time, I found myself distancing from the tone and messaging of those articles. Many of them blended personal, diary-like reflections with current events—a format I still find innovative and exciting. However, they no longer feel like something I want to carry forward indefinitely. While I’m proud of the creative risks I took, I’ve changed, and so has my perspective. These posts represented a younger version of me, and while I respect that phase of my life, I’m ready to move on.
The tipping point came when one old article started receiving an unusual amount of traffic. At first, I was intrigued. But as the attention grew and I couldn’t pinpoint its source, I became uneasy. After re-reading the article, I decided it wasn’t something I wanted to be a focal point of this site’s work. That led me to a broader conclusion: it was time to “burn the forest down” and free myself from the weight of the past. Some have asked whether I’ll republish any of the deleted articles. The answer is yes—selectively. There are pieces I believe still hold value and fit within the direction I want to take. For now, my focus is on carving out a new path, one that aligns with where I am today and where I want this platform to go.
Part of this process involves distancing myself from extreme or shock-driven content. While those approaches had their time and place, they no longer resonate with the tone I envision for this site. I want this space to be about building something meaningful, impactful, and forward-thinking.
In terms of my ideological direction, I’ve decided to lean into a perspective that champions the American regime. That might sound surprising, even controversial, but let me explain.
With Trump in power, we’re (the American right) perceived—both at home and abroad—as the leaders of the global American empire. This is an opportunity to act with confidence, play offensively, and win strategically. By co-opting certain economic or social issues where there’s room for alignment, we can neutralize opposition and strengthen our position. However, there are two non-negotiables we must address:
- The narrative that teaches White men to hate themselves.
- The influence of foreign actors subverting our government.
These are fundamental challenges, and compromising on them is not an option. This site is entering a new chapter. It’s a chance to create, grow, and evolve into something different—something that reflects where I (and we as a movement) stand today. The journey ahead excites me, and I hope it resonates with you too. If you have thoughts, feedback, or insights (especially regarding that mysterious traffic spike), feel free to reach out. Here’s to the future!
