America First is reminiscent of the Falange Española with its inception and propagation based on the vision of one man who bears the torch of civilization in the midst of dark decay.

The Falanges popularity is credited to the charismatics of Spain in the midst of a new republic. Jose Antonio commanded the respect of the youth, full of vigor and energy.

The natural Charisma of Jose Antonio was only a facet of his mystique. The left hook was his revolutionary desire to create a New Spain that would surpass the histories of the long gone Empire of old.
For God and Fatherland.

He appealed to the Eternal Metaphysic of Spain. The Spanish were not a people bound by constraints of time, the Spanish were only bound by God, who entrusted them to command.
For America First, this, too, is the Metaphysic of America.
A Destiny Manifest.

The youthful minds, Jose Antonio inspired, desired this Metaphysic. They saw this not as a conservation of the past but, instead, felt this as birth of a new creation.
America First doesn’t wish to go back to the 50s, it wants to go forward I’m search of something greater.

But to achieve this ideal, the Falangists had to be “Catholically barbarous.”
The old regime will never give way to the new, so they took it upon themselves to wield destiny in their favor.

The Falangist’s opposition resembles the American Con Inc. contra AF, with its vitriolic attitude against change.
They critiqued Jose Antonio of being too radical, claiming he would turn away voters.
Now as it was then, the institutional right hampers the path forward.

The leftist regime didn’t fear the Old Right, infact, they preferred the benign opposition as opposed to a new energetic movement.
The left now will mimic the Spanish Republicans by attempting to demonize America First.
They sense the danger.

Jose Antonio envisioned a revolutionary elite to dishevele the old regime. It would be technical professionals that would constitute a new aristocracy.
Nick Fuentes advocates for you to become a professional, hone your craft, so that you may help build a nation.

Like Nick, Jose Antonio rightly saw power as a neither good nor bad, but simply a tool for change, whether that be for good or ill was up to the wielder.

The Falange revolutionized discourse in Spain. It’s soul was not focused around the destruction of the left, but concentrated on the love of God and Country: Arriba España!
This American movement, too, moves away from tearing down and focues on building up: America First!

This life is not worth living if we are not striving toward a greater Good.
Like the Spanish Falange, America First sees the American Metaphysic as a Great Enterprise to strive for.

The struggle against fallen Powers and Principalities is eternal.
In that glorious battle, Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera bore the torch for the Spanish, so, too, does Nick Fuentes leads America First in pursuit of a glorious metaphysic.
