How The Trump Revolution Was Twarted
From CNN:
Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified before the House select committeeinvestigating the Jan. 6 insurrection and painted a damning portrait of former President Trump’s actions on that day.
Hutchinson said Trump and Meadows were aware of the possibility of violence on Jan. 6, including that supporters had weapons when they gathered on the Ellipse. Trump lunged at Secret Service and the steering wheel of the vehicle when he was told he couldn’t go to the Capitol, the ex-aide said she was told.
Since Jan 6th it has been frustrating to see Trump not help the patriots that still are being persecuted for fighting for him. But when you hear things like this you start to realize all the factors behind the scenes that have acted as obstacles for Trump. If he had gone back to the Capitol there would have been a violent Revolution.
We also know that prominent right wing figures like Milo and Baked Alaska were warned by the feds to not go to January 6th. I believe this was to try to drain the energy out of the event that all these influential figures would bring.
They could see an insurrection happen. We never thought of it. In the end they’ve worked hard to make sure something like that never happens again. This has happened time and time again anytime the right is winning. Unite The Right, 2016 election, and Stop The Steal all were events the system knew could have disastrous effects so they pulled out all the stops to destroy them.
Unite The Right made the alt-right go from the counter culture to antisocial. Trump’s win came with it an onslaught of internet censorship the likes of which nobody thought was possible in America. Stop The Steal was a protest of injustice that concluded in maga boomers getting domestic terrorist charges.
They see the power and momentum. The problem is not all of us do. When an attack is brought against us only 20% keep going while the 80% claim they were never really playing anyway.
