My Mind’s Eye Lights Fires In Your Cities

“Strange memories on this nervous night in Las Vegas. Five years later? Six? It seems like a lifetime…San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of… History is hard to know, because of all the hired bullshit, but even without being sure of “history” it seems entirely reasonable to think that every now and then the energy of a whole generation comes to a head in a long fine flash, for reasons nobody really understands at the time–and which never explains in retrospect, what actually happened… There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not across the bay, then up the Golden Gate or down 101 to Los Altos or La Honda…You could strike sparks anywhere.

There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning… So now, less than five years later, you can go up a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost SEE the high water mark–that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”
-Hunter S. Thompson on the Sixties

“In my mind’s eye, my thoughts light fires in your cities.”

Helter Skelter

Charles Manson is one of the most important individuals of the of the 20th century. The story of his life should be studied and consumed by anyone who wants to have a good grasp of our current situation. He exemplifies a huge part of the sixties mythology. The death of sixties. The dark side of hippies, lsd, and communes were shown in the media’s portrayal of Manson.

There is a lot of evidence that the entire Manson case was a CIA operation gone right. I encourage you to read Chaos below.

In some ways he could be the considered the Anti-Nixon. Where Richard Nixon wanted to wield the system to conserve common decency and back down the waves of progress attacking America. Manson believed that the system would collapse and we should fight and  preserve our own while having some fun. These viewpoints are still at odds at each other in a way with Trump supporters and accelerationists.

My World

Nixon wasn’t able to accomplish what he wanted. He ended up impeached. The king was dethroned. Trump tried and every possible obstacle was thrown in his way. They frauded him out of an election and laughed all the way through. I think in retrospect we should consider Manson’s stance. Obviously it didn’t work out for him either, dying in federal prison. His rhetoric and mindset is very important to consider. Where modern conservatives are beautiful losers when it came to accomplishing anything. Manson was never a loser. Everyone he came in contact with he made believe he was two steps ahead. He frightened the establishment so much they jailed him for “brainwashing”.

“Never forget, the press is the enemy. The establishment is the enemy. The professors are the enemy. Professors are the enemy. Write that on a blackboard 100 times and never forget it.”

~ Richard M. Nixon

“Look down at me And you see a fool, Look up at me And you see a god, Look straight at me And you see yourself.”

The Scorpion And The Frog

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting, but the scorpion argues that if it did that, they would both drown. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. The frog lets the scorpion climb on its back and then begins to swim. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: “I couldn’t help it. It’s in my nature.”

We must realize where these people are dragging us. We can’t keep having the same arguments on their terms. We must have fun and work on another system while infiltrating the existing one.

“I don’t wanna take my time going to work, I got a motorcycle And a sleeping bag And ten or fifteen girls. What the hell I wanna go off And go to work for? Work for what? Money? I got all the money in the world. I’m the king, man. I run the underworld, guy. I decide who does what And where they do it at. What am I gonna run around like some teeny bopper somewhere for someone else’s money? I make the money man, I roll the nickels. The game is mine. I deal the cards.”

I am the man in the mirror, anything you see in me is in you, I am you, and when you can admit that you will be free. I am just a mirror.
