Jillian Ludwig, 18, was critically shot in the head while walking in a park in Nashville, TN. She is not expected to live.

Shaquille Taylor, 29, a dangerous, career criminal who was being aggressively pampered by the authorities, has been arrested. Taylor allegedly fired numerous shots out of the window of a public housing project.

The details of Taylor’s recent history are shocking. Taylor has been charged with violent crimes going all the way back to 2010, when he was still a minor. There could be even more that is classified due to age. His mother says he was shot by other gangbangers when he was 15.

In 2021, he was arrested for shooting at a woman and her two children while they were sitting in a car. The car was hit twice. Taylor confessed to the crime, however was coddled with three counts of assault instead of attempted murder. Then he was never prosecuted.

He was released from custody in May of 2023. The local District Attorney, Glenn Funk, says that he was deemed “mentally unfit for trial.” Judge Angelita Dalton dismissed the charges and the DA’s office ordered him to be released. So a violent, mentally ill man was released back onto the streets to attack more people.

Taylor was arrested again in September for carjacking. Despite his past history, he was only given a tiny $20k bond and immediately released.

For the second time in four months, they released a career violent criminal, who they claimed was mentally ill. It was blatantly obvious he would continue attacking people. Taylor was supposed to appear in court in early November but did not attend. (Huge surprise.)

So far, he has only been charged with aggravated assault and evidence tampering. His bond was set at $380k. Glenn Funk is blaming Tennessee State law for Taylor being released in May. He says that Taylor met the level of mental illness to avoid being prosecuted. However, he supposedly did not meet the level of mental illness to be institutionalized. Of course, this doesn’t explain why he was quickly rereleased in September after being charged with a new violent felony. This also doesn’t explain why he was not in prison for the 2021 crimes.

Jillian Ludwig played guitar, bass, and piano and sang. She was majoring in Music Business at Belmont University. Her family lives in New Jersey.

In late 2021, the Tennessee State Legislature passed a bill called the “Rogue DA” Bill. The Nashville daily paper said many felt Glenn Funk was the inspiration for the bill.
