Almost two years into the Covid-19 pandemic, an end might finally be in sight.

Experts say that Covid will likely lose its “pandemic” status sometime in 2022, due largely to rising global vaccination rates and developments of antiviral Covid pills that could become more widespread next year.

Instead, the virus will likely become “endemic,” eventually fading in severity and folding into the backdrop of regular, everyday life. Various strains of influenza have followed a similar pattern over the past century or more, from the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918 to the swine flu pandemic in 2009.

Covid will probably remain dangerous once the pandemic ends — much like the flu, which killed as many as 62,000 people in the U.S. between October 2019 and April 2020, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

But barring any major developments, “normal” post-pandemic life could arrive soon. Here’s what you can expect from the next year and beyond:

Covid could become much more seasonal

Once endemic, Covid won’t dictate your daily decision-making as much, as billionaire health philanthropist Bill Gates described in his end-of-year blog post last week: “It won’t be primary when deciding whether to work from the office or let your kids go to their soccer game or watch a movie in a theater.”

Endemic illnesses are always circulating throughout parts of the world, but tend to cause milder illness because more people have immunity from past infection or vaccination. You might get a cough and sniffles, but if you’re up-to-date on your vaccinations, you’ll be protected enough to prevent severe illness or hospitalization.

Like other respiratory viruses, there will be times of year when Covid infections peak — most likely the colder fall and winter months, meaning Covid and flu seasons could regularly coincide going forward.

You get the point. You will never go back to your normal life.

Psychedsubstance was someone I watched a lot when I was younger and is again going through harsh problems due to his drug use. I believe he has to have an above average IQ. Doing drugs should be illegal. Many seem to take it personally when you go after drugs. They create scenarios where it would be necessary to have recreational drug use legalized. This has been a big draw for the libertarians for decades, the conservative occasional drug user. You may experiment with substances or have in the past. Therefore you might subconsciously think that weed for example should be legal as it’s not that bad for you and you may want the chance to do it again. Fact is the people that push for decriminalization are all your enemies. We are in a broken, depraved country. The masses high will not some how make things better. A commune with these white dmt bros wouldn’t be so bad (functionally at least, but it’d be annoying as hell). That’s not even in the cards for a very long time. It’s a literal pipe dream. The masses should be as sober as possible right now so they can see their uncut reality. You aren’t getting another stoner Willie Nelson you’re getting a nation of Femtenyl Floyd’s.

(CNN)-Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense team has rested its case in her sex trafficking conspiracy trial without Maxwell taking the stand to testify.

The defense rested after presenting its case over two days in which nine witnesses were called to testify in defense of Maxwell, a close confidante and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Prosecutors said they would not put on any rebuttal.

Maxwell confirmed she would not testify in her defense Friday. Asked by Judge Alison Nathan if she understood her rights, Maxwell pulled down her mask and responded, “Your honor, the government has not proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt and so there is no need for me to testify.” The jury was not present.

Closing arguments are expected Monday, and Judge Nathan said she expects to instruct and charge the jury the same day, giving jurors two days to deliberate before court closes next Thursday and Friday for the Christmas holidays.

The jury can return to continue deliberating the following week if they have not reached a verdict.

This broad does not give a fuck. Say what you want about the man but Epstein knew how to pick ’em. Fake based folks keep pushing this case as something that’s being pushed under the rug by the deep state. It really isn’t, they aren’t worried about anything related to Epstein. It’s already been copted. When Netflix starts making movies on your conspiracy theory, it’s time to pack it up and go home.
