When You Die The Movie Ends

Have you ever had someone say “the world doesn’t revolve around you”? Were they successful? In this life you are completely on your own. If you are really attractive, charismatic, rich, or have some other exceptional quality you may have people that accommodate you more. But even if you do have these you need to hold yourself accountable for everything you do and be totally independent.

After saying that, you are the main character of your life. I’m not saying that to make you feel special, it’s just the truth. You are the protagonist. The person at the wheel is you. It’s not your parents, girlfriend, or your friends. It’s you. They don’t feel the impact of the crash. A mentor can act as a gps and God can be your copilot but it’s all you. If you’re drunk and texting while going 80 don’t be surprised when your car gets totaled and you’re in a coma for months.

Look through your eyes. Nobody else in the world sees the world through your eyes with your thoughts and experience. Think about how amazing it is that you’ve grown up on Earth. Thank God that you have made enough good decisions that you are able to read this right now.

Don’t look at yourself as an extra or a side character. The guy on TV doesn’t know you exist. You know you exist. This is your life, you should realize that you are in control and write the story. Not your neighbor.
