so from what I understand, this is the full list of parts needed:

CPU
CPU cooler
Motherboard
Memory
Storage (do i need 2 of these? pls explain why some builds have 2)
Video card
Power supply

Case
Monitor
Keyboard
Mouse


ok so. here's what I want:

at least CPU w/ 6 cores, speed over 3GHz, RAM 32G

*i think having multiple GPUs will increase render speed as well

Budget: $1,500 - $2,500 (if the 2,500 is significantly better than 1,500 then i'll go with that. pls explain)

i think I need a NVIDIA GPU. also, is the GPU on the CPU or the graphics card (im retarded). and i'm assuming the memory part has the RAM

gpu is the graphics card and what nvidia makes. look at the VRAM more so than RAM. VRAM is needed to render things

u need at least 12 VRAM not to be a cuck if u gen AI images. prolly needs to be way higher if you dont want 3d rendering to take an hour

i would probably say fuck it and get 24 GB of VRAM cuz a few years from now shit is probably just gonna get even more demanding.
get a decent CPU so the computer isnt slow in general and doesn't crash but you dont need to max out anything other than GPU imo
pretty sure the motherboard can be cheap and you won't notice as long as it has enough ports for ur convenience.

should the strategy be to spend the max money on CPU & GPU and then get cheap parts for everything else? do i need an expensive motherboard to run expensive CPU & GPU?
