yes, most money is spent on GPU and CPU. Just make sure you research which brand CPU you want to go with because switching later will require a new motherboard. Just make sure the power supply is able to handle what you need and i would recommend getting a modular power supply. I have so many extra power cables shoved into the back of my pc case, and it is annoying when installing and cleaning.Blender - Open Data

should the strategy be to spend the max money on CPU & GPU and then get cheap parts for everything else? do i need an expensive motherboard to run expensive CPU & GPU?
idk where to allocate my money. i know for the case, mouse, keyboard i can go dirt cheap. but the rest of the stuff idk
