this ranks the best CPU & GPUs for what i'm trying to do.

should the strategy be to spend the max money on CPU & GPU and then get cheap parts for everything else? do i need an expensive motherboard to run expensive CPU & GPU?

idk where to allocate my money. i know for the case, mouse, keyboard i can go dirt cheap. but the rest of the stuff idk
yes, most money is spent on GPU and CPU. Just make sure you research which brand CPU you want to go with because switching later will require a new motherboard. Just make sure the power supply is able to handle what you need and i would recommend getting a modular power supply. I have so many extra power cables shoved into the back of my pc case, and it is annoying when installing and cleaning.

I essentially picked the best CPU & GPU based on the blender benchmark performance. every other part i have no fucking idea, I just made sure it was compatible.

pls help with any info u have about better options, or price cutting. thenks

don't buy an apple, itll give you AIDS and they will write "Tim Cook's dumpster bitch" on your grave.

run some parts through eBay too. you could probably invest in some faster memory.

Just buy a noctua cooler. You cant go wrong with one of those. You're buying a top of the line CPU, you definitely need to pay attention to this. I made this same mistake when building my first PC. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/84...black-8252-cfm-cpu-cooler-nh-d15-chromaxblack

I think so, your case says is 210 mm wide according to PCPP and the noctua cooler (the one you should be getting) is 165 mm.

but it does go pretty well with your logic board, gpu, and to some extent your case.
