Part Time is a weird band cuz it's the work of this guy David Loca who's been recording music since the late 90's and basically just slowly releasing it as compilations here and there. He was slowly gaining traction for a decade and in 2018 he recorded a studio album that featured Ariel Pink and was fairly popular at the time.
In 2020 he was "cancelled" in the wake of the infamous Burger Records scandal and his music was wiped off the internet. In response, a small, but highly dedicated cult following has sprung up, of which I am a longtime member. David has since come back and released some more stuff but i'll leave that to you to investigate.
Part Time bio:
"Over a short and prolific span of a few years, Part Time's David Speck (aka David Loca) crafted a lo-fi bedroom-recorded sound that was equal parts psychedelic pop, soft rock, and primitive synth pop. Initially working alone, he cranked out many records for labels like Loglady, Mexican Summer -- 2013's PDA is a highlight -- and Burger while maintaining a high hit-to-miss ratio."
