My opinion based on cursory listening is that she started out doing something pretty unique and fresh sounding (to mainstream ears), but as she tries to develop in to other styles, she just sounds like a worse version of whatever she's trying to assimilate. She isn't an exceptional singer and leans heavily on specific production that sounds alien when she steps out of her comfort zone.

Gr8 point. Her voice has like 0 depth or range. A majority of her songs are sung in the same sultry breathy tone.

Well, no, she doesn't lack self awareness. She's coming right out and saying it.
