You need to sleep more:bedtime:
they made me do a 30 min long presentation so i made 25 slides and it took me 20 mins per slide cuz i was copiously citing my sources and also reading most of each of the studies i included. i went to sleep at ~11:30PM and woke up at 3:30AM and worked on this until 10AM and then showered and then the interview started.

:pooh: ya i could've worked on the presentation ahead of time but also fuck u

i didnt practice my presentation a single time or even proofread it but it ended at exactly the right time. i kinda had to pick up the pace at the end but not super noticeably. i did notice 1 typo which was writing efficacy instead of efficiency

just had another interview where i noticed less than 10 mins before the interview started that they wanted me to do a 5 min powerpoint presentation about anything non-clinical i'm interested in within my self-introduction. i started freaking out but then remembered i did a powerpoint about japanese free improvisation a couple years ago -- i found it, opened it, and then cut down the slides by like 75% and changed the title slide.

after the presentation the entire panel of interviewers hopped on my dick and said "i learned so much... it sounded like an npr podcast" and several of them concurred that i "should start a podcast"

but later on i ruined the interview when one of the questions was "tell us about your biggest failure" and i told them about the time i failed a class and made myself sound like a lazy dysfunctional fucktard (which i am) :pooh:

i need to start prepping for negative interview questions (tell us something about you that sucks and tell us a horrible thing you did that hurt everyone around you... etc) but i'm too lazy to do anything that i'm not required to do even if doing it would spare me from public humiliation.
