a very cursory look at https://x.com/CDCDirector reveals that the tweets advocating for the covid vaccine in 2024, masking, etc., were made by mandy cohen -- the prior CDC director. the account was transferred to this new person. she didn't make the old tweets. simply click on "Media" and observe how the person in every image and video isn't the person in the profile pic.

after the transfer, she's just been retweeting RFK. maybe she actually is a vaccine conspiracy theorist. did AF post have a source other than these tweets written by mandy cohen?
