philosophy troon's video has this structure:
1. here's a thing that leftists always complain about and generally consider bad/immoral
2. this thing applies to all MAGA people
3. this thing is actually nietzschean
it's very similar to innuendo studios videos that argue that republicans are nihilists. before u say "ok based??" -- it's really just a function of leftists thinking republicans are being hypocritical on purpose. it's obviously false that republicans reject universalism or reject objective morality. any supposed republican/MAGA moral hypocrisy isn't machiavellianism, it's because republicans and MAGA are genuinely confused and find it difficult to come up with consistent reasons to justify why they feel the way they feel. they *want* to adhere to universalist liberal morality, and they'll profess it if you ask them in the abstract, but the practical, political fruits of universalist liberal morality also make them uncomfortable which leads to cognitive dissonance. so you get all of these things that are really just people deferring to thought-terminating cliches ("well that's just my personal right" "we're all entitled to our own opinions" "i wouldn't want it for my family" "do ur own research" "i think all that stuff is fake" ...)
they're not nietzschean, they're failed liberals.
