i think it's kind of interesting to watch the absolute trainwreck that is south korea
kinda insane how japan has the best culture in the world and SK is among the absolute worst (in my opinion), despite most people thinking they're "similar" countries

korean men are actually not that bad. it's mostly korean women who are evil.

The whole country is overeducated and basically moves people straight out of school in to grueling, trivial careers, forever. Every industry is anchored in the capital and their lives seem totally suffocated before you layer on any of the gender war stuff.

Regarding that drama, as refreshing as it is to see men use institutional power to sanction uppity foids, they don't do it constructively and both sides are completely out of pocket. The men are sex-obsessed trucels and the women are black people levels of resentful. Disaster zone.

just had an an advisory meeting related to statistics with a south korean girl who had a strong accent and was maybe like 25-30 years old and holy fuck she was rude and unlikable. not personable at all... just made terse, critical statements... asked me to repeat things i already said as if i did something wrong by not already saying it (but i did say it)... no facial expressions... slits for eyes...

this sort of thing (talking to someone and they're weirdly robotic and rude) has never happened to me with a japanese person but it happens with koreans and chineses
