this thread will take shape based on the input of other users, but as a baseline, the concept of this thread is based on the AOTWC thread.
HOWEVER -- the major differences are:
can i nominate a movie i've never seen / can i nominate a movie i've already seen?

when do nominations close?
when i feel like there are enough members and nominations to proceed and also feel like no one is getting cucked because i'm moving too quickly. no concrete rules on this yet.
when does the first cycle start? the beginning of next month?
probably not the beginning of the month -- probably just whatever random day i feel like we're ready to proceed.
how do you prevent people who aren't participants from voting in the poll?
i could probably do this in a convoluted way, but the simplest way would just be to make the poll not anonymous and then ignoring faggot votes :/
can i change my nominations?
yes, as long as the poll hasn't been made yet.

- 1-month cycles instead of 1-week cycles (may be adjusted as we go along...)
- BIG CHANGE: THE MOVIE IS VOTED UPON RATHER THAN UNILATERALLY SELECTED BY PARTICIPANTS
- join the movie of the month club by saying you want to join
- nominate up to 2 movies per cycle
- nominations are collected and a poll thread is made
