i think i get the preference for obscure music being recommended now. The advanced music listener has already heard or "experienced" every popular song that is heard commonly, and so seeks out more obscure music. And in so doing needs a system of categorization to file music listened to under and so the proliferation of titles for music genres that seem pointless to a music normie (me). I am suffering under a fat retard and he dosent understand my complaint that he only listens to the same songs over and over again. Because he is a fat retard. But I think my music listening habits were too broad in the past that I would enjoy listening to anything as long as it was "new". So I lack the discerning ear that it seems many members of this forum have.
Also like with any subject that has a large potential for "knowing" their are many retards who believe they gain social value by being a "knower", so the study of any particular subject becomes filled with normalfaggots pretending to "know", and mayb really developing an interest in the subject, but cannot discuss because it is tied to their emotional being instead of being an objective thing that is studied purely for their own edification (autism).
My lack in this subject is from a preference for a clear mind against all music I felt it clouded my reason, but this stems from my over sensitivity to my environment, the cultivated man should have a discerning ear and I wish to learn on this subject. Knowing that the value in obscure music is premised on the assumption that the hearer is advanced and has heard all that is "mainstream" has assisted me.
