Cyclists are tr00ns of the road. The purpose of a road is to transport people and goods as swiftly as possible. Cycling is a self-indulgent form of play, not an efficient means of transport. Rather than do this in private cyclists inflict their fantasy on others.

The first part rings true, but if Romanticism is one of the highest expressions of our thought, our thinking is not so impressive. It's both ideologically and artistically unsophisticated. I don't understand its draw.
