i'd Like to Inquire into what kind of person enjoys things that sound like this and what the appeal in this is supposed to be
in almost every single show, watching dubs might as well not even be watching the same show. the vile accents, the vile inflections, the vile localizing, the vile attempts to insert memes, the complete tonal shift from the lines in japanese, the complete change in personalities that affect the entire way you'd view the show, the vile accents, the horrible voices, the disgusting awful accents and the horrible way they speak when their mouth opens

the way they exaggerate their voices doesn't even match the way the japanese voices are exaggerated. in japanese it's melodramatic or just pushing their personality to the forefront, but in english it's a completely invented and unnatural manner of speech that nobody has ever spoken like. like if you watched railgun and every single person speaks like accel

if anybody in here watches dubs, defend yourself
if you enjoy this you don't like anime. anyway shut up and don't read this post

dubs are for people who are too stupid or lazy to read text
also for people who hate the medium but are watching it anyway for some reason. like if muttonhead decided to watch an anime, he'd probably pick the dub. iirc redpillgamingtv also picked the dub versions of anime he watched on stream as a wacky joke stream thing
