i've liked the evergrace OST since 2017. anthony being a fan of evergrace is coincidental

someone showed me the palmira goods theme in 2018/19 as an example of supposedly "objectively bad" music during an argument about there not being objectively bad music and i thought it was really cool so i listened to the whole soundtrack and checked the game out through that and thought it was pretty rad overall

in my mind, i associate the OST with a cluster of avantgarde albums that are all downstream of svusk. the same people i was internet friends with who liked the evergrace OST all also liked baudouin oosterlynck and henning christiansen. stgstv was additionally part of this clique's canon.
