- Russia’s assault began Thursday, and quickly spread across central and eastern Ukraine as Russian forces attacked the country from three sides by land, sea and air.
- Blasts are being reported in Kyiv early Friday, with a Ukrainian official saying the country’s capital has been hit by cruise or ballistic missiles. Russian forces are now about 20 miles from Kyiv, according to top US officials.
- Leaders from the United States, European Union, Australia and Japan announced harsh new sanctions against Russia.
You are seeing the sides that are forming. What players make up each team. Those siding with Russia are essentially anti-globalist while the opposition is the New World Order. Russia is being watched very closely in how they invade. Everyone is looking for slip ups and evidence of this being comparable to Germany in WW2 or Iraq in the early 2000s. Putin has been extremely careful. Many have complained that there is not as much footage as they would’ve liked. This is just one of the numerous strange things in this war. Less than 150 dead in the first 24 hours of this invasion. This was no accident. Can’t afford to be sloppy.
Russia has worked very hard to make itself sanction proof. These sanctions will likely hurt us a lot more than they will them.
