Ethereal is the third studio album by the Florida-based rapper $NOT, coming out roughly one year and a half later since his previous full-length record, Beautiful Havoc, released in October 2020.

$NOT first announced the album via Twitter on October 9th, 2021, tweeting the word “Ethereal,” then replying by saying “Album name.” He also stated on his Instagram story:

I think it’s something that’s too perfect for this world.

The LP’s official tracklist was posted on $NOT’s Instagram profile on October 24th, 2021, showing 13 tracks with features from A$AP Rocky, Trippie Redd, Joey Bada$$, and more.

The first single, “Go,” was released on November 24th, 2021.

On January 20th, 2022, $NOT revealed the album’s release date, February 11th, 2022, alongside the official cover art.

The second single, “Doja,” featuring fellow rapper A$AP Rocky, was released on February 4th, 2022.
