As fans gathered to airports with flights to Taiwan to see Yui leave, they were disappointed to learn that Haga Yui never existed to begin with, she was just an imaginary idol.

i think this was the only time philip jeck and otomo yoshihide ever performed together, and they did it while also performing with martin tetreault. all 3 of them made the turntable their primary instrument in the 1990's, which was and still is very unusual for experimental, non-hip-hop artists. the other big name in experimental turntablism is erikm, but i don't like him.

philip jeck is dead, so there are less than 30 mins in recorded audio history of the 3 greatest free improvisation turntablists collaborating. :coffee: (they never recorded anything together in studio either, but this type of music is mostly done live anyway.)

i can only imagine what it was like to see/hear this as it was being created. RIP philip jeck

non-experimental music concerts are boring excuses for normies to get drunk/high and rub their genitals together.
the only true live music is free improvisation. the only good concerts happen in small rooms where 10 to 30 autists are gathered, sitting in chairs.
