i was gonna say he has too many baby's first X mainly after i saw james chance and akiko yano next to each other, but then i saw theoretical girls and the stick men so evidently he does actually explore genres. though he obv has preferences (jazz and avant-prog* picks are definitely more basic than the new wave and no wave picks or whatever). thread gets better as u get further. kinda interesting that he posted jeffrey i hear you. i wonder if i indirectly caused him to find that because i meme'd it 10 years ago when it was way more obscure (it's still obscure now). maybe im delusional idk.
*kinda cool to see literally anybody right-wing also like henry cow. but since i couldve sworn i also saw "why you never became a dancer" in there (the thing you show to people the day you discover power electronics and immediately abandon after listening to 1 good power electronics album), he might just be trying to widen the range of what he's posting by including some of these. though tbf i think i saw something else by fred frith in there
