nick's monologues are barely the same medium as what "streamers" do. it's more akin to doing a podcast except by himself, with video, live, on a daily basis -- which is extremely impressive, as i think most people understand.

i've never cared about him being late because it's incredible that he's even able to do what he does at all. imitators all get exhausted by the format after like 1 month (more or less) and then quit or change format to being a regular streamer: having cohosts, reading chat, padding content by being a react-andy, gaming, doing segments, etc.

as far as branching out goes, nick has been doing a lot of bonus streams in more conventional formats (react andy + some gaming) lately already. irl sounds like a terrible idea

with regard to the substance of the monologues being repetitive: if nick was more highbrow and/or if nick had more novelty takes, the streams would generally be considered more boring and he would upset people in his audience even more often

He experimented a lot in 2020 with stuff like good night Groyper and the tiktok stuff. The 2020 baked and Nick stream was gud and his gaming streams r kino but Nick is dedicated 2 the format. If he started doing gaming streams on Tuesdays instead of the show it would aggravate him and the audience.

i don't like gaming streams in general. i only watch people play video games when the people i'm watching are professional-level savants at the game and watching them allows me to vicariously feel the thrill of being the Greatest

otherwise, might as well just hang out with chat while watching babby sensory videos.
