i was rewatching the debate and the way trump pivoted here was very encouraging

trump typically says his plan for deporting illegals is to "give power back to the police" or whatever, which isn't a real plan, which means he hasn't thought about it seriously, which means a mass deportation effort probably isn't going to happen. regardless, i was pleasantly surprised by his response in the debate.
