oh yeah, he also defined gender the exact same way i would define gender -- in a way that intentionally avoids circularity (using the word gender in the definition of gender) or floating signifiers. that means he's actually used his brain and thought about things and isn't just getting his arguments from vaush and contrapoints etc.
