star fox assault was one of my favourites games as a kid and it's strange that it has "mixed" reception. the game is completely epic in every way possible. 99% of the time i spent playing it was multiplayer, though, so maybe if you're a 35-year-old game critic and played the game for your job at ign or whatever you wouldn't actually understand why the game is good.

people who die too many times and then accept a deal with satan (where he offers to make the game easier in exchange for taking something "very important" to "the real you") find out that the important thing they traded was the ending of the game.
