it would be so funny if japanese people celebrated thanksgiving in a super-american way, like if they had parades with people dressed up like injuns and pilgrims and giant turkeys. that would be a very japanese thing

Something that rarely gets brought up by weebs is the quality of Japanese cuisine. Not just sushi, almost everything they eat is higher quality, but less quantity (this is why they aren’t fatties unlike us). I’ve traveled through most of western Europe, and I’d say the food in Japan even surpasses them

i mean it's funny but out of all the things to be the final straw of this stuff, the actual voice actor being black and just having a black version of the character he's voicing just as a goofy thing is the least offensive or patronizing thing it could've been. imagine if putin was contemplating invading ukraine for a long time and then finally decided to do it cause a guy with a ukrainian accent didn't hold the door open for him
