Buttholehead didn't join so there is no techno album.
You will, instead, receive Shoegaze. :gun::gun::gun::gun::gun::gun::gun::gun:

The Sleepwalk - Phantasmagoria II

don't really know how to describe this album. incredibly spastic hallucinogenic shoegaze. the mixing throughout this group's discography is very consistent and bizarre, even a fairly standard rock-band format song (of which there are few) just feels strange through this. the only two comparisons mixing wise i can think of are also japanese indie acts, citrus and EeL, but they're not near this feeling. there are 3 phantasmagoria albums and i'm posting this one cause i like it the most

all sleepwalk albums have multiple years long recording periods, some songs as early as 1993. the first phantasmagoria was supposedly fully recorded by 96, i don't really know what's up with that. some of this stuff seems like it could not possibly have been made in the 90s, but the scarce amount of material actually released in the 90s actually does give some precedent to it. the thing is, this album is supposedly almost entirely songs from 94-96.

i found this in 2018 and don't remember how, but their albums weren't anywhere online. a long time later, i looked them up again and their discography had been uploaded just a few months after i tried to find them. not only that, but they were gaining considerable traction instead of being the entirely unknown obscurity who were only known to anybody because they had a song in some jrpg

the compromise is that my next album will be techno if the thread hasn't died again by then
