Jon Bois has better presentation skills than probably any other video essayist. I just finished watching his three-part series on the Reform Party, though I wasn't expecting to; the first episode came out a few months ago; the second part one week ago. I'd recommend the first part highest, as it covers the most relevant history and is less moralistic and obnoxious than the other two. Bois is best known for covering historical sports topics, and I've seen most of his video essay content, even though I don't have serious knowledge about any sport. His BEST video in terms of presentation and content is about the famous basketball game between DeVry and Troy State.

i'm starting to realize that i don't like amateur youtube documentaries. i like when someone actually has an original opinion or perspective and elaborates upon it extensively. if the video is just walking me through something that happened, i find it hard to care. this is part of why i like hbomb and tim rogers so much.
