I could never see the appeal in Pound. He seems to me much too self-indulgent.

ive read it a couple times, there’s a few fun essays in there. Like with bam u can finish it in an hour or 2.

He does have a few entries where he goes into how he’s feeling from not sleeping for hours on end, mimicking the way Hunter S. Thompson described his experiences with drugs. I found these tedious. The ending is also very underwhelming

No, I knew of them but never read them. Their style reminds me of Thomas777, though lol. And I don't mean that he's a self-indulgent thinker. I like both him and Eliot, but not as poets.

Lel I thought the same thing, I’ll likely associate that style of writing with T777 until the end of time.
And I don't mean that he's a self-indulgent thinker. I like both him and Eliot, but not as poets.
Ohhhhh okie ya I get that, I prefer Eliot’s essays over his poems too
