did anyone watch saltburn? everyone was saying it was the best movie ever a few months ago but it sounds like a goth queer film with a milo-coded mc to me

i hope the skibidi toilet movie will be good. but it's far more likely to be universally panned... i have a feeling it's going to take itself too seriously and be very loosely based on actual skibidi toilet. a good adaptation would be a surreal, satirical action-comedy

would also need body horror elements to capture the gmod deformities

i watched episode 1 of the fallout tv show and the constant DEI/racemixing propaganda was really annoying. i actually don't hate the female protagonist, but the nigger protagonist is super annoying. i don't know why they decided to make multiple protagonists instead of just focusing on 1 person exploring the wasteland.

i was hoping the show would pace itself like the way i play the games -- just start exploring and looking for interesting things. slowly gather pieces of information. instead they skip to different characters and immediately introduce the brotherhood of steel in a really boring way.

also didn't like the way the brotherhood of steel HQ looks like some rag-tag military training camp. it should look more futuristic and fascinating :erm:

I watched Metropolitan recently and quite liked it. The movie itself is not about much, a few weeks in the lives of some young, upper-class socialites in Manhattan. Ostensibly, these lives consist only of debutante parties and after-party gatherings, but this setting serves as the backdrop for much reflective discussion about their role and fate in modern society. It's far more charming than it sounds.
